Stage iib should be stage IIB, which generally refers to cancer staging, and stage IIB is equivalent to early to intermediate stage.
Cancer is a common malignant lesion. According to the size of the tumor as well as the degree of infiltration, whether there is lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis, cancer can be divided into four stages, i.e., Stage I, Stage II, Stage III, and Stage IV, of which Stage II is generally equivalent to early to intermediate stage.
Tumor stage II is usually subdivided into two subtypes: stage IIA and stage IIB.
There are two types of stage IIA, one is when the tumor is relatively large in size but has no adjacent lymph node metastasis, and the other is when the tumor is relatively small but has developed peripheral lymph node metastasis.
Stage IIB refers to tumors that are larger in size and have developed lymph node metastasis, or larger tumors that have peripheral tissue structure involvement but no lymph node metastasis yet.
The staging of tumor is not absolutely the same, it also depends on the location of the tumor, and the staging methods of different locations of the tumor are different, and secondly, it should be based on the type of cancer cells, comprehensively judge the severity of the disease, and then formulate the treatment plan.
