What are the symptoms of acute severe cholangitis?

The disease is mainly caused by stones, and the onset of the disease can be acute. Patients may also experience chills and high fever, with a rapid rise in body temperature, which can reach as high as 40°C. The patient’s pulse rate may also increase, even reaching 120 beats per minute. Some patients may experience jaundice, with yellow eyes and skin, and even during defecation, the urine may turn thick tea-colored, and some patients may also experience blurred consciousness and mental lassitude.
