The difference between neoconiosis and cold is as follows: First, symptoms, the main clinical manifestations of neoconiosis are fever, dry cough, malaise as the first symptoms, a very small number of patients will show symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection such as nasal congestion, runny nose and sore throat. The first symptoms of common cold are nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough, headache, muscle and joint aches and pains. Second, physical examination, the new crown pneumonia can be heard on auscultation of both lungs scattered dry and wet rales, while the cold does not have signs of dry and wet rales in the lungs. Third, auxiliary examination, the lung CT of new crown pneumonia can be seen with inflammatory shadows outside the lungs, in line with the diagnostic criteria of CT of new crown pneumonia, blood count can be seen to be reduced. There is no decreased lymphocyte count in common cold and no inflammatory shadows in lung CT.
