Novel Coronavirus Screening Program

If a novel coronavirus infection is suspected, the following tests are performed: 1. Blood tests. If the white blood cell count is reduced or the lymphocyte count is decreased, it may be a novel coronavirus infection, but it may also be another virus. 2. Coagulation function. Observe the change of D-dimer level. In case of pneumonia, the image will show a gross glassy appearance. 4. respiratory specimens for pathogen detection. 5. blood specimens for viral gene sequencing. The diagnosis is confirmed when the sequences detected match the novel coronavirus.
