Nephrogenic edema tends to occur rapidly and can start with puffiness in the face and eyelid area and quickly spread throughout the body, including swelling of the fingers. When such symptoms appear, patients can go to a regular hospital to improve kidney function and urinary routine tests to screen the cause and provide targeted treatment.
