The best time to dislocate a femoral neck fracture is 3-6 months after surgery. Because of the special site of femoral neck fracture, the blood supply here is less, so the femoral neck fracture is very easy to cause femoral head necrosis. Therefore, after femoral neck fracture surgery, long bed rest is required to avoid shear stress on the fracture end and fracture displacement, otherwise it will easily cause fracture non-union and femoral head necrosis. During the first three months of the femoral neck fracture, bed rest is required, and during the third to sixth months, the patient can get out of bed and walk gradually with the support of double crutches, and the weight applied to the affected limb should be gradually increased, not too much weight at one time. It is safest to abandon the crutches after the fracture has reached clinical healing at six months.
