What is the problem of swollen and painful palate and mouth ulcer?

Swelling and pain in the palate combined with mouth ulcers is a very common clinical condition. Mouth ulcers are a type of oral mucosal lesion that, when severe, can itself cause swelling and pain in the palate. If the two conditions are not caused by the same factor, it is evidence that multiple lesions may be occurring in the patient’s mouth, or the inflammatory lesions may have spread so much that they require immediate treatment.
