How to identify pneumonia with a stethoscope

In the case of pneumonia, if you listen to the breath sounds of the lung lobes with a stethoscope, you will find rales inside the lungs. The main rales that appear when there is inflammation in the lungs are wet rales, like blisters, with a purring sound inside. In addition to this condition, the pathological breath sounds are different at different times of pneumonia. The most typical one is of course the wet rales, which also appear in the early stages of pneumonia, when the lungs are not yet exuding, and the breath sounds are rougher and more difficult to hear than the normal soft, gentle breathing, which occurs in the early stages of pneumonia when the lungs are exuding. There is also a condition in which the breath sounds decrease when there is a large area of inflammation or solidity in the lung, and there may even be a period when there are no breath sounds, especially when pneumonia is accompanied by pleural fluid, and no breath sounds can be heard in the area of the pleural fluid, which are all auscultatory changes that occur during pneumonia.
