How can I tell true haematuria from false haematuria in a child with red urine?

In children with red urine, the main factor in determining true haematuria and pseudohaematuria is to determine whether there are red blood cells in the urine.
True haematuria has red cells in the urine, while pseudohaematuria has no red cells in the urine although the urine is red in colour, so the easiest way to determine true or false haematuria is to measure the red cells in their urine.
