The first step in the treatment of peritoneal effusion is to understand how it is caused. The first one is caused by low protein. The second one is caused by cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. It is caused by portal hypertension due to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. First of all, it can be treated with medication, mainly diuretic treatment, the main diuretic drugs are potassium-protective diuretics. There is also furosemide injection or tablet, which can be given together with spironolactone as diuretic and decongestant treatment. If the effect is not good and the protein amount is low, it can be combined with the input of human albumin and then diuretic method to reduce ascites. The third one gives direct laparotomy drainage and direct release of ascites for treatment.
