patients with peritonitis are more often associated with acute illness, fever, acute or persistent abdominal pain, rebound pain with abdominal pressure and tenderness to palpation in the abdomen
patients with renal disease are most often associated with peripheral oedema, raised blood pressure, proteinuria, etc.
patients with cardiovascular disease are more likely to have dyspnoea, cough and sputum, fatigue, dizziness, and panic
Patients with acute abdominal disease tend to present with dizziness, pallor, clammy skin, syncope and even shock.
