Pediatric inguinal hernia, the best time to diagnose and treat syringomyelia

1.Diagnosis :
B ultrasound examination is sufficient.
2, Reason for treatment: risk of impaction (stuck), affecting testicular development (male)
3.The best time for treatment:
Inguinal hernia: The latest international guidelines and clinical experience show that if a hernia is embedded (stuck), discomfort (e.g. pain), regardless of age, it needs to be operated as soon as possible. If there is no discomfort, hospitalization after 10 months of age may be indicated, considering the risk of anesthesia at a young age.
Syringomyelia: it is generally less likely to become lodged and may heal spontaneously within 1 year of age, but if it does not heal for a long time above 1 year of age, surgery is recommended.
