How is low-renin hypertension or hypertension of young onset diagnosed?

Low renin hypertension is seen in some older patients with essential hypertension, but do not forget the exclusion of secondary hypertension, especially in patients with young onset hypertension and difficult to control blood pressure. Other clinical conditions to consider are: primary aldosteronism (adenoma or hyperplasia), Liddle syndrome, GRA (glucocorticoid treatable aldosteronism), and AME (episodic salt corticotrophic aldosteronism). Patients who need to be excluded can contact me to complete this genetic test.
