The embryo will finally return to its mother’s warm “palace”. Embryo implantation is a masterpiece of timing, location and harmony. Everything is ready, but not without the east wind. Good quality embryos, good endometrial environment, smooth transfer, smooth hormone levels, harmonious physical and mental environment, and that little bit of favor from God to you will give birth to a heavenly little life. Life is a miracle! To create life is to create miracles. A normal couple has only a 20-25% chance of creating a miracle each month. IVF has a 55% chance of creating a miracle every month, isn’t that the miracle of miracles? Not to mention that IVF technology is aimed at infertility patients, not women with normal physical and reproductive systems. What does a prolonged inability to conceive mean? It means that the body, especially the reproductive system, has diseases that are not conducive to life, and it is a miracle that our IVF technology can achieve a pregnancy rate of 55% in such an environment that is not conducive to the growth of embryos. And this miracle is the doctors? Are they the embryo researchers alone? No! I often joke with my patients, “If Dr. Shi alone can make you pregnant, Dr. Shi is willing to die even if he is exhausted”. But this is not something that Dr. Shih can do alone, Dr. Shih is not a god, not what you think comes, Dr. Shih is actually a hardworking farmer, working hard day and night, plowing the ground, turning the soil, carefully sowing seeds, watering and fertilizing, it is up to you to harvest or not. Your sperm and eggs formed your embryo, which is the seed, the endometrium is the soil on which your seeds germinate, your mind is the warm sunshine, but also to avoid natural and man-made disasters, whether the harvest depends on whether God gives us face. Therefore, success and failure is the result of our efforts together. “Your success is my success, your failure is my failure”, each doctor is not happy with the patient, together with the pain. You fail, you suffer, I comfort you, discuss with you, find the possible reasons for failure, and prepare for the next time again; you fail, I suffer, who will comfort me? Who will encourage me, make my heart strong, and help you to challenge the disease again? Have you ever thought about how I feel? If a farmer works hard for a year and there is no harvest, and she sits on the ridge of the field and looks at the bare field, how does the farmer feel? If the seeds are bad, the farmer admits it; if the land is barren, the farmer admits it; if the seeds are good, the land is good, and the farmer works so hard, but the climate is bad, natural or man-made disasters, there is no harvest, the farmer’s heart can be willing? Who can she complain to? Who can she complain to? In the IVF process, our embryo lab is a “processing plant”. Give us good eggs and good sperm to create good embryos. Please don’t wait too long until you are over 35 years old, when the eggs and sperm start to age, the endometrium is not fertile, and the uterine cavity is tormented by various tests and treatments, so how can a bad embryo grow into a healthy baby in the dilapidated palace? How can the embryonic baby live in a house with crumbling walls and broken windows and tiles!
