Malignant meningiomas usually refer to atypical meningiomas as well as mesenchymal meningiomas, which account for a relatively low proportion of meningiomas. There are no clear clinical statistics on their survival rates, but the average survival time for patients with atypical meningioma is reported to be 5.48 years and for patients with mesenchymal meningioma is about 1.48 years, but the exact survival time depends on the individual patient and the treatment process. If the patient’s intraoperative meningioma and dural resection are relatively complete, along with regular postoperative treatment, along with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, their survival time can be prolonged.
