Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is a common gynecological disease, but also a difficult problem in gynecology, patients are often very painful because of the long treatment. It causes a great burden mentally and economically, and seriously endangers the health of women. The pelvic inflammatory disease is an inflammation of the female genitalia (uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries) and the surrounding connective tissue, pelvic peritoneum, which can be confined to one area or several areas at the same time, and can be divided into acute and chronic. This disease is equivalent to “dysmenorrhea”, “dysmenorrhea” and “obstruction” in Chinese medicine, and sometimes only abdominal pain is the main symptom. In Chinese medicine, this disease is mainly due to the internal invasion of damp-heat, cold-damp, phlegm-damp evil, which is not treated in time or thoroughly, and the damp evil stays and becomes stagnant with the qi and blood of the cell veins, resulting in stagnation of the qi and blood of the cell veins and cell ligaments, poor operation and damage to the flushing. The main manifestations are lower abdominal cramping and pain, lumbar dice pain, sometimes accompanied by anal cramping and discomfort, often aggravated after exertion, sexual intercourse, during defecation and before and after menstruation. In addition, it may be accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination, increased leucorrhea, abnormal menstruation, dysmenorrhea and infertility.
