Pulmonary nodule shadow, in fact, is what we call lung nodules in daily life, which may be inflammation of the lung, tuberculosis, hyperplastic nodules or lung tumors and other diseases. There are still more diseases that cause lung nodules, and the most common one in daily life is inflammation of the lung. These inflammatory nodules can basically disappear after anti-infection treatment, so once a lung nodule is found, the first thing to do is to exclude whether there is inflammation. Secondly, pulmonary nodules can also occur in tuberculosis disease, which needs to be diagnosed at an infectious disease hospital, and if the diagnosis is tuberculosis, anti-tuberculosis treatment is possible. In some patients, the nodules are benign and do not require clinical treatment, as long as they are observed regularly; in some patients, the nodules are malignant tumors, which must be taken seriously, and if surgery is possible, surgery should be performed as soon as possible; in some patients, who have a history of tumors in the past, the nodules appear in the lungs during the review, which should also be taken seriously, as they may be metastatic lesions. Pulmonary nodules are easily detected in daily CT or chest radiographs, so don’t worry too much once they appear.
