Spinal Cord Injury (SpinalCordInjurySCI) refers to the spinal cord injury caused by external direct or indirect factors, in the corresponding segments of the injury appeared in the innervated area of a variety of motor, sensory and sphincter dysfunction, muscle tone abnormalities and pathological reflexes and other corresponding changes. It is often caused by spinal fracture, dislocation or fire injury. Most commonly seen in car accidents, falls, falls, sports trauma, crush injuries and gunshot wounds, etc. The annual incidence rate of SCI is 20~40/1,000,000 [1], and the paraplegia caused by it is a relatively common and serious disability, which often leads to a variety of complications and even death; with the rapid development of transportation and construction industries, the number of patients with SCI has been on a rising trend year by year and SCI is now most common among young and middle-aged people, which has brought a heavy burden to the people’s production, The number of SCI patients is increasing year by year with the rapid development of transportation and construction industries. According to the physiological process of neurological recovery, the recovery period of spinal cord injury generally refers to the period from the stabilization of the condition after spinal cord injury surgery to within six months thereafter. According to the feedback received by the applicant in the clinical consultation, many hospitals have saved the patients’ lives after the surgery, but did not advocate timely rehabilitation treatment, missed the best rehabilitation treatment, and the residual limb dysfunction and dysfunction of bowel movements often affect the quality of life of the patients. Modern medical theory suggests that neurological recovery has plasticity, and as long as surgery is timely and acupuncture rehabilitation is early intervention after spinal cord injury, the patient’s neurological function can be maximally restored. The common symptoms of spinal cord injury are the dysfunction of both lower limbs, the sensation of constriction in the spinal cord injury plane and the sensory disorder below the injury plane, and the dysfunction of urinary and fecal functions. If the plane of injury is in the cervical spine, there may also be dysfunction of both upper limbs. Patients who are bedridden for a long period of time may also have some complications, such as venous thrombosis of the lower limbs, decubitus ulcers, urinary tract infections and so on. At present, Chinese medicine treatment methods include acupuncture, electroacupuncture, moxibustion, acupoint injection, Chinese medicine, etc. Acupuncture points include Fubu, Blood Sea, Foot Sanli, Yanglingquan, Sanyinjiao, Xiexi, Taichong, Fenglong, Hangzhong, etc. Clinical acupuncture points are not standardized, and Chinese medicine diagnosis is not standardized, so the corresponding rehabilitation and nursing methods are also varied. Although modern rehabilitation therapy assessment methods are relatively comprehensive, a specialized neurological function assessment method for spinal cord injury is yet to be constructed. According to the literature, acupuncture treatment is mainly utilized in the treatment of electric acupuncture, while our clinical experience shows that the effect of comprehensive treatment is more significant, and the efficacy is better when combined with rehabilitation treatment and corresponding nursing care.
