The best time to treat asthma in children

The earlier the best time to treat asthma in children, the better. Children with asthma symptoms need to be treated as soon as they are diagnosed. In the case of intermittent asthma, especially in children with seasonal pollen allergy asthma, symptoms need to be seen in a timely manner to relieve the symptoms and the earlier the treatment, the better the results and the treatment usually does not take long. If the asthma is persistent, even if it is mild, a certain amount of time is needed for standardized and reasonable treatment. It is recommended that parents bring their children to the hospital for a follow-up visit every 3 months or so to determine whether the treatment is working as intended and whether further adjustments to treatment are needed based on symptom control, medication use and lung function. When asthma occurs in children, parents should promptly take them to the pediatric respiratory department of a regular hospital for symptomatic treatment by a professional doctor after clarifying the cause, so as not to delay treatment and transform them into middle-aged asthma, which will increase both the difficulty and cost of treatment.
