Precautions after double eyelid surgery

  1, trauma care For open double eyelid, the surgeon will apply eye ointment to protect the incision and bandage it for one day. For the minimally invasive buried liner, you can apply a little eye ointment to protect the incision without wrapping after surgery. Avoid touching water for a week and keep it dry. If there is blood scab or secretion on the incision, use a cotton swab dipped in sterile saline or medical alcohol to wipe it, and remove the sutures in 6 to 7 days for open double eyelids, and wash it normally in 1 day.  2, post-operative ice pack with appropriate ice, can effectively control post-operative swelling and prevent wound bleeding, bruising or hematoma and other situations. You can use medical ice bags or homemade ice bags such as bags of ice milk, alternating ice packs around the eyes with dry towels, so as not to damage the skin with prolonged ice packs.  Do not eat ginseng, antler and other tonic products, eat more high-protein food, do not smoke and drink, take more rest, do less strenuous exercise, and avoid spicy and stimulating food and seafood within six months after surgery to avoid scar growth.  3. Avoid sunlight and shade You can wear sunglasses for six months after surgery to avoid sunlight stimulation of scars, pigmentation and delaying the recovery process of incisions.
