Can breast tumors grow fast enough to be operated on?

Clinically, for malignant tumors and benign breast tumors that are larger than 2cm in diameter and growing fast, surgical excision is usually needed. Usually for benign breast tumors less than 1cm in diameter, you can continue to observe and follow up regularly, and then do ultrasound every six months to check whether the lump is increasing, if the tumor is larger than 1cm, you can check the ultrasound every three months, and if the tumor is larger than 2cm and grows fast, then it is recommended to remove it surgically, so as to avoid further increase and deterioration of the lump. For malignant tumors, surgery is needed as soon as possible. For women over 35 years of age and postmenopausal women, surgical resection is needed to send pathology examination, and for patients with heavy psychological burden after the disease, surgical resection is also needed to ease the tension. Specific treatment needs to be examined in regular hospitals to comprehensively determine the treatment plan.
