How soon can I work with a broken finger?

  After the fracture of the finger, it usually takes about 4-6 weeks to recover, and it is recommended to work longer according to the nature of work.  After 4-6 weeks, if the fracture is well healed, you can start to do some light activities and work, such as holding light things, writing, holding chopsticks, and doing some fine movements. However, it is important not to blindly use the affected finger to lift heavy objects or do high intensity work, which may lead to swelling and pain of the affected finger, or even fracture displacement, resulting in another fracture.  It is generally no problem to recover from the fracture of the finger in 4-6 weeks. As to whether you can work or not, it is mainly decided according to the nature of your work, like pipe fitter, porter and other nature work, it is better not to start immediately first, it is recommended to work after 8 weeks. Under the guidance of the doctor, you can also use drugs to promote the healing of the fracture.
