Indicates the possibility of malignancy and requires a mammographic biopsy to clarify the nature.
Breast ultrasound indicates a grade 4 breast nodule, which is considered a possible malignant lesion and requires a mammographic biopsy to determine its nature. grade 4 is subdivided into grades a, b, and c, with a progressively increasing risk of malignancy ranging from approximately 3% to 94%. 4a indicates low suspicion of malignancy, solid masses with 1 to 2 malignant manifestations, requiring pathology, and a 10% chance of malignancy.
If a breast nodule is found to be grade 4 on ultrasound then perform a mammaplasty as early as possible to clarify the nature and treat surgically as soon as possible.
