Is it good to lie on the side of the good limb of hemiplegia?

This position can increase the sensory input from the affected side, and has a pulling effect on the whole hemiplegic limb and trunk, which helps to prevent and control spasticity. 1. The bed must be as flat as possible. 2.The head position should be fixed. 3.The trunk should be slightly tilted back, and a pillow should be placed behind and on the head to fix it. 4.Shoulder joint on the hemiplegic side: forward flat internal rotation and 90° of shoulder forward flexion. 5. Upper limb on the hemiplegic side: 90° to the torso, place a small table at the side of the bed, place the hand completely on it, extend the elbow, extend the fingers, palm up. Pay attention to straightening the elbow joint as much as possible. 6.Lower extremity on the hemiplegic side: extend the hip, slightly bend the knee joint, and dorsiflex the ankle at 90°. 7.Healthy side upper limb: put it on the body or pillow (comfortable position is sufficient). 8.Lower limb on the healthy side: keep the stepping posture, put on the pillow; knee and ankle slightly flexed (a comfortable position is sufficient).
