Treatment of perianal abscess

Conservative treatment There are not many options for the treatment of perianal abscesses, the only cure is surgery, and the sooner the better. In case of immature conditions or physical conditions, you can choose medication, intravenous or oral antibiotics, local topical application, but the effect may not be ideal. Surgical treatment 1, incision and drainage of pus, local anesthesia incision and drainage of pus, relief of symptoms, post-operative drug changes, this surgical method requires a second anal fistula surgery, this surgery is used in the patient’s physical condition is not allowed or temporary emergency treatment. The advantage is that the incision is small, does not require hospitalization, and can soon resume action and work, but the disadvantage is that it requires a second operation, a long treatment period, and a relative increase in treatment costs. 2.One-time radical surgery After long-term research shows that as long as the infection is not hematogenous, try to take one-time surgical radical treatment of perianal abscess, more than 90% of patients with perianal abscess can be cured by one-time surgery. The advantages are as follows: one surgery is less painful than two-sided surgery, the procedure is shorter, and a second surgery is usually required after three to six months. At present, there are generally three methods of radical surgery: the first is a low abscess, which is directly incised and drained, and the second is a high abscess that needs to be incised and drained and treated with a hanging wire, which causes the sphincter to be slowly incised and the broken ends on both sides to become adherent and fixed, with little retraction and displacement. The hanging wire can also play the role of drainage, so that secretions and necrotic tissue fluid along the hanging wire drainage, so as to keep the drainage open and prevent the occurrence of infection. The purpose of hanging is to protect the function of the anus as much as possible, and in recent years, scholars have also proposed a two-way isobaric drainage method for high abscesses.
