Is a cough without fever a new coronavirus?

A cough without fever is not necessarily a new coronavirus pneumonia. Winter is the season when colds are common and coughs can also occur. The main manifestations of novel coronavirus pneumonia are fever, malaise and dry cough. A few patients have symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose and diarrhea, while some patients only have low fever, mild malaise and no pneumonia. The total peripheral blood leukocyte count is normal or decreased, and the lymphocyte count is decreased. Early imaging of the chest shows multiple small patchy shadows and interstitial changes, which are evident in the extra-pulmonary zone.
