Ocular stones are clinically diagnosed as conjunctival stones, which are not parenchymal stones in the true sense of the word such as gallstones and kidney stones, but ocular stones formed due to the solidification of shed epithelial cells and degenerated leukocytes on the conjunctival surface of the lid.
