Thyroid disorders refer to all diseases caused by lesions in the thyroid gland, such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, goiter, goiter, thyroid tumor, thyroid cancer, and many others. The symptoms of different thyroid disorders are different, but in general, a series of symptoms such as swollen lump in front of the neck, thyroid dysfunction, and localized pressure will appear after suffering from thyroid disorders. An enlarged nodule in front of the neck is a typical symptom of thyroid disease, especially in people with thyroid tumors. However, a swollen thyroid gland is often a clinical manifestation of a variety of thyroid disorders, not necessarily a thyroid tumor, so it needs to be combined with ultrasound to rule out the possibility of a malignant thyroid tumor. For example, people with hyperthyroidism may experience palpitations, irritability, sweating, fever, agitation, and protruding eyes. When hypothyroidism occurs, people may experience fatigue and chills. The symptoms of thyroid cancer are usually tumors in the thyroid gland, which are not easily moved and have unclear edges. In addition, people with thyroid disease may experience localized pressure, chest tightness, breathlessness, coughing and hoarseness. When patients have these symptoms, they need to go to the hospital for a thyroid examination to rule out the possibility of thyroid disease.
