What tests should be done for infertility?

Patient: I got married in August 2007 and got pregnant in November, but the pregnancy stopped growing in the third month, and then I had a medical abortion and an ablation. Since then, I have not been pregnant, and at the end of last year, I was found to have a small fibroid. I’m wondering if this is the reason why I can’t get pregnant. I’ve been wanting to have a tubal lavage but haven’t gone because I’m afraid of pain. I would like to hear your advice. What should I do. My husband is a soldier and he is getting older, so we want to have a child. No test results for the time being. Regularity of menstruation: age of first menstruation: number of days per period: average number of days of menstrual cycle: volume, color, abdominal pain: date and status of last menstruation: age at marriage: number of pregnancies: number of miscarriages: number of births. Fan Wensheng, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Beijing 301 Hospital: To get pregnant requires two conditions: 1. normal ovulation; 2. normal function of the fallopian tubes. First of all, to determine whether the ovulation function is normal, mainly by observing whether the menstrual cycle is regular, combined with the determination of basal body temperature, or diagnostic scraping within 8 hours of menstrual blood. Scraping is more painful and basal body temperature can take 2-3 months or longer to determine. Tubal lavage is done only after normal ovulation has been determined.
