Removal of early esophageal cancer by multi-loop ligation

Endoscopic multi-ring ligature mucosal resection (MBM) is a new technique introduced to China in recent years for the treatment of early esophageal cancer. The principle of this technique is to observe the lesion area by gastroscopy, mark the boundary by high-frequency electrocoagulation, install a multi-ring mucosal resector at the front of the gastroscope, apply the ligature ring by rotating the handle, and remove the lesion in stages by using high-frequency electric ring ligature. Compared with traditional surgical treatment and other early cancer resection methods, this technique has the advantages of no incision, easy operation, significantly reduced risk of perforation complications, less treatment instruments, shorter treatment time, less trauma, lower cost and faster recovery, etc. It has become an effective new minimally invasive treatment method for resection of early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions under endoscopy. Our hospital has successfully carried out MBM treatment for early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions without complications such as perforation and bleeding, and it is the hospital with the largest number of cases and the best treatment in Hebei Province at present.
