Surgery for lung tumors is a level IV procedure, whether minimally invasive or open heart surgery, and is major surgery. When a lung tumor requires surgical resection, it usually involves removal of localized lung tissues or lobes that contain the tumor and, if necessary, extended surgical scope, regional lymph node dissection, and so on. Currently, the main surgical methods used include traditional open chest surgery and minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgery. Open thoracic direct vision surgery, with a large surgical incision, is relatively traumatic and has many postoperative complications. Thoracoscopic lung surgery is a minimally invasive procedure with small surgical incisions, relatively little trauma, and relatively quick postoperative recovery. Both surgeries are level IV surgeries, technically difficult, complex and risky, and belong to the highest level of surgery at present, and both are major surgeries. Lung tumor surgery is a major surgery, it is recommended to seek medical treatment, under the guidance of professional doctors, standardized treatment.
