What causes heartburn after meals

Total heartburn after meals is associated with diseases such as reflux esophagitis and gastric ulcer, and is partly caused by eating indigestible food. In patients with reflux esophagitis, after ingesting food, there is a high secretion of gastric acid, so gastric acid will reflux into the esophagus causing damage to the protective barrier of the esophageal mucosa and invasion of the esophageal mucosa. In this case, the patient will not only experience heartburn after meals, but also belching, acid reflux and sternal pain. Some people have gastric ulcers in the stomach, and these people experience regular stomach pain. Especially about half an hour after a meal, heartburn can occur due to excessive secretion of stomach acid. Some people always have heartburn after meals due to dietary problems. Eating indigestible foods in the diet, such as fried chicken nuggets, chocolate, and chili peppers, will lead to excessive secretion of stomach acid, so there will be a feeling of heartburn after meals.
