A 60-year-old woman went to the ophthalmology department of the Public Security Hospital. The doctor examined her and found that she was a patient with an intradermal nevus on the eyelid margin. The patient complained of a slow-growing mass on the eyelid margin of her right eye for more than 30 years, which was now covering her pupil and interfering with her vision and appearance, and she wished to undergo surgery to treat it. A lumpectomy and upper blepharoplasty were performed for her. During the operation, the surgeon paid attention to the length and width of the sheared blepharoplasty and the suture of the lid margin to avoid causing eyelid deformity. The skin suture was removed 7 days after the operation and the suture of the lid margin was removed 14 days after the operation. The postoperative result was very good, both eyes were symmetrical and the patient was very satisfied. Eyelid tumors are divided into two categories: benign and malignant. Benign tumors are more common and increase with age. Most of the benign eyelid tumors are easily diagnosed in Japanese clinics, and most of them are surgically removed in the UK for cosmetic reasons. However, the diagnosis of malignant tumors is often difficult. In addition to considering the age of occurrence, medical history, tumor morphology, growth rate, the presence or absence of bleeding tendency and lymph node metastasis, because the eyelid is located on the body surface, it is easy to diagnose the tumor by taking numerous pathological examinations. In talent treatment, in addition to considering the prognosis of the tumor, the protection of the function of the eyelid and cosmetic issues should be considered excellent. Both benign and malignant tumors, people should take a positive attitude to recognize. Benign tumors although slow growth time, but grow to a certain size, especially in the eyelid margin position, is bound to cover part of the pupil, affecting vision, at this time will increase the difficulty of surgery, a larger range of people will cause eyelid deformity, and for the elderly there is the possibility of malignant changes, so it is still recommended that we go to the hospital in time to listen to the doctor’s advice, to take a positive attitude towards treatment.
