Prevention of perianal abscess

Perianal abscess is one of the common diseases in hepatology and gastroenterology, which causes a great impact on the work and life of patients. For perianal abscess, we should focus on prevention. While actively exercising, we should also change our underwear regularly and keep our anus clean. Let’s take a look at it below. Acute purulent infection occurs in the soft tissue around the anal canal and rectum or in the interstitial space around them, and an abscess is formed, which is called perianal and perirectal abscess. It is characterized by self-rupture, or often forms an anal fistula after surgical incision and drainage. It is a common anorectal disease and the acute phase of the pathological process of inflammation of the anal canal and rectum, and anal fistula is the chronic phase. The common causative agents are Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, occasionally anaerobic bacteria and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and often a mixture of germs. Perianal subcutaneous abscesses are the most common and are mostly caused by the outward or direct outward spread of anal gland infection via the subcutaneous part of the external sphincter. Preventive care for perianal abscess 1. Actively exercise, enhance physical fitness, improve blood circulation, strengthen local resistance to disease and prevent infection. 2.Keeping the anus clean, changing underwear regularly and cleaning the anus after defecation have positive effects on preventing infection. 3.Actively prevent and treat other anal diseases, such as anal saphenitis and anal papillitis, to avoid perianal abscess and anal fistula. 4.If not treated in time, it can cause other diseases with perianal abscess as clinical manifestation, such as ulcerative colitis, intestinal tuberculosis, etc. 5.Avoid sitting on wet ground for a long time so as not to get cold and wet in the anus and cause infection. 6.Preventing constipation and diarrhea is important to prevent the formation of perianal abscess and anal fistula. 7.Once an anorectal perianal abscess occurs, it should be treated early to prevent its spread and proliferation. 8, active prevention and treatment of other anorectal diseases, such as anal sinusitis, anal papillomegaly, anal fissure, inflammatory hemorrhoids, proctitis and other timely, correct and effective treatment can avoid and reduce the occurrence of perianal infection, abscess and anal fistula.
