Hemorrhoids do not change into intestinal cancer. Hemorrhoids are essentially not tumors, they are pathological hypertrophy formed by the tortuous, dilated veins. Both internal and external hemorrhoids are tortuous, dilated soft venous masses, not tumors, so they will not change into intestinal cancer. Hemorrhoids will always be hemorrhoids, but if they are severe they can lead to aggravation of symptoms, such as more bleeding, frequent prolapse of the mass, and the possibility that the prolapsed mass may not be able to retract, forming an embedded hemorrhoid, etc., but they will not form intestinal cancer. There is a disease around the anus that can change into intestinal cancer, namely rectal polyps, which are benign tumors but have the risk of malignant transformation. There is a lot of clinical evidence that most rectal cancers evolve from rectal polyps, so if rectal polyps are found, they should be removed as soon as possible.
