How long do you usually live with cirrhotic nodules?

The survival period of cirrhotic nodules is closely related to the degree of cirrhosis and the stage of development. The survival period of early cirrhotic nodules ranges from 10-20 years, while the survival period of advanced cirrhotic nodules mostly does not exceed 5 years. Cirrhosis is mainly caused by extensive necrosis of liver cells followed by proliferation of fibrous tissue to form nodules and pseudo lobules, and liver function will be significantly impaired, and the survival period of patients with cirrhosis varies in different periods. Patients with early cirrhotic nodules are mostly not accompanied by obvious complications, and if they can actively cooperate with treatment, they can mostly survive for 10-20 years or even longer. For patients with advanced cirrhotic nodules, if complications such as massive ascites, upper gastrointestinal bleeding and hepatic encephalopathy occur, the survival period of patients is shorter, and the 5-year survival rate is generally less than 30%. In conclusion, patients with cirrhosis should go to the hepatology department of the hospital for standardized treatment in a timely manner, while paying attention to a light diet. In addition, it is important not to take medication on your own to avoid aggravating liver damage.
