What to look for after stenting

People who undergo heart stent surgery usually suffer from coronary artery sclerosis and narrowing, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the heart and thus “coronary heart disease”. As long as this is understood, it will be easy to understand the precautions to take when talking about post-stenting. For a few days after stenting, avoid excessive activity of the lower extremities if done via the femoral artery, and avoid exertion of the upper extremities to prevent bleeding if done via the radial artery. Clopidogrel should not be discontinued for one year after the procedure to prevent in-stent thrombosis. In addition, other matters that should be noted in patients with coronary artery disease should also be noted. 1. Eliminate or reduce the causes of coronary artery sclerosis and stenosis: (1) Because the causes of stenosis are triglycerides (TG) and cholesterol (TCH) in the blood and some substances in the blood that can easily form deposits in the artery wall, so the diet should be strictly controlled and the intake of fats should be reduced.
