Most of the headaches in TB patients are caused by TB toxicity. Because TB patients have symptoms of TB toxicity such as low fever, night sweats, and weakness, the fever can also cause headache in patients at the same time. If the headache can be relieved by active anti-tuberculosis treatment and by lowering the body temperature to normal, there is no need to worry. It is also important to be alert to the possibility of tuberculous meningitis, and further lumbar puncture can be performed to rule out the disease if necessary. If all these diseases are ruled out, further head CT or head MRI can be performed to rule out the possibility of neurological disorders, and active symptomatic treatment can be given if necessary.
