It is equivalent to anorectal cancer. 1.Diagnostic basis (1) Early change in bowel habits, increased or decreased frequency of stool, may be accompanied by anal swelling. (2) Then blood in the stool occurs, bright red or dark red, accompanied by mucus, and the number of stools increases. There is a feeling of urgency, or pus and blood in the stool. (3) In the late stage, defecation is difficult, the stool becomes thin and flat, and even signs of intestinal obstruction appear. (4) The disease may metastasize to the liver, lungs, and other sites. When the sacral plexus is invaded, there may be severe pain and the whole body appears malignant. (5) On anal finger examination, the masses and ulcers can be palpated and the finger stained with blood. (6) Proctoscopic examination, masses and ulcers can be seen. Biopsy can clarify the diagnosis. (2) Classification of symptoms (1) Dampness and heat: anal swelling, increased frequency of stool, blood in stool, dark red color, or mucus, or with urgency and heaviness. The tongue is red, the coating is yellow and greasy, and the pulse is slippery. (2) Qi and Yin deficiency: lack of color, emaciation and weakness, loose stools, or difficulty in defecation, blood in stool, purple color, anal swelling, or with heart trouble and dry mouth, night sweating. The tongue is red or vivid, with little coating, and the pulse is weak or fine. (3) Qi stagnation and blood stasis: perianal swelling bulging, hard as a stone when touched, with constant pain. Or blood in the stool, with purple color, urgency and difficulty in defecation. The tongue is purple and dark, and the pulse is astringent. 3.Efficacy assessment (1) Cure: symptoms disappear, the mass disappears or is completely removed, and the wound is healed. (2) Improving: symptoms are reduced, the mass is shrunken, or not completely removed. (3) Not healed: no change in symptoms and signs.
