Teach you to understand the MRI report form

The MRI report includes general patient information, examination site, examination method, imaging performance, and imaging diagnosis. The examination sites include the neurological system such as the brainstem, subparietal region, greater occipital foramen, spinal cord and intervertebral disc, abdominal and pelvic organs such as the liver, kidney, bladder, prostate and uterus, as well as the neck, breast and large blood vessels of the heart. The pulse sequence includes both plain and enhanced types. Common terms for imaging performance: 1. T1WI/T2WI is the basic sequence of MRI, which is mentioned in almost all reports; 2. DWI is diffusion-weighted imaging, which is mainly used for the differential diagnosis of ultra-early cerebral infarction or benign and malignant body tumors; 3. MRA is magnetic resonance angiography; 4. MRCP is magnetic resonance pancreaticobiliary imaging; 5. MRU magnetic resonance urinary tract imaging; 6. 6. “Signal” is the description of the strength of the echogenicity of the tissue or lesion by MRI, and the doctor can pay attention to it. Common diagnostic imaging terms: 1. The term “inflammatory lesions” refers to a large group of diseases, but it is not certain what kind of infection is involved or whether it is the cause of the infection; 4. “High probability” refers to the tendency of diagnosis; 5.
