What is the cause of frequent urination at night

Excessive drinking before bedtime, nervousness, urinary disorders, other systemic disorders.

If the nighttime urination is frequent and the nighttime urine volume exceeds the daytime urine volume, then it fits well with the symptoms of nocturia. There are probably several causes of nocturia.

1. Normal physiology caused by drinking too much water, coffee, tea, etc. before bedtime, and no other problems with nocturia.

2, mental overstimulation, resulting in poor sleep at night, there is not too much urine in the bladder, that is, the desire to urinate, slowly forming a habitual nocturia of the mental nocturia.

3, caused by diseases of the urinary system, such as renal insufficiency, or prostate enlargement, which lead to impaired urination.

4. Other systemic diseases, such as diabetes or heart failure, are often associated with nocturia.
