How to diagnose and treat hives?

  Urticaria (urticaria) is commonly known as rubella. It is a limited edematous reaction caused by various factors that lead to the dilation and increased permeability of small blood vessels in the skin and mucous membranes. It causes localized damage. It occurs and subsides rapidly and has severe itching. There may be fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea or other systemic symptoms.  Clinical manifestations Clinically, the skin and mucous membranes are affected by tingling and burning pain, with recurrent episodes of intense itching, which is aggravated before bedtime or in the morning. It may be accompanied by abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and chest tightness, palpitations, dyspnea, a few have fever, joint swelling, hypotension, shock, laryngeal edema asphyxia symptoms, etc.; the duration of the disease varies, acute urticaria duration within 1 month; more than 1 month is chronic; the skin scratch test is positive in some cases; the diagnosis is mainly based on: the appearance of skin lesions of varying sizes, sudden onset, rapid fading, itchy and intense. Chronic urticaria, with recurrent attacks of the damage, lasting for more than 1 to 3 months; laboratory tests, positive results of skin allergen tests or increased serum IgE levels can be detected.  Treatment Generally acute urticaria does not need to be examined, chronic urticaria for allergens testing, as far as possible to remove or avoid all suspected causes; internal antihistamines, corticosteroids for those with systemic symptoms, or symptomatic treatment; check allergen test positive for desensitization; with infection can be treated with antimicrobial agents; chronic cases can be tried closed therapy, autologous blood therapy, acupuncture therapy, Oxygen therapy, tissue therapy; topical application of soothing antipruritic agents; application of Chinese herbal medicine and evidence-based treatment. Immune desensitization therapy is the only fundamental treatment that can completely cure allergic urticaria.
