How hives are caused

Urticaria is a common allergic skin disease. The onset of urticaria may be related to food, drugs, physical factors, psychiatric factors and systemic diseases.
1. Food and drugs: animal proteins (such as fish, shrimp, crab, milk, etc.), plants (such as mango, tomatoes, peanuts) and food additives, etc., may cause urticaria. Penicillin, sulfonamides, serum preparations, various vaccines and other drugs may also cause urticaria.
2. Physical factors: when the patient is subjected to cold, heat, sunlight, friction, pressure, vibration and other physical stimuli, may cause urticaria, most of which are transient attacks.
3. Mental factors: when the patient’s long-term mood swings, nervousness, depression, etc. can induce or aggravate urticaria.
4. Systemic diseases: when the patient suffers from systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatic fever, malignant tumors, endocrine disorders, autoimmune thyroiditis and other diseases may also lead to urticaria.
It is recommended that patients seek timely medical examination, according to the condition of targeted treatment, and avoid contact with allergens in life.
