There is no scientific basis for the statement “autologous blood therapy for urticaria”, and autologous blood therapy has been banned. Self-hemotherapy is a unique therapy in the past, there is no evidence-based scientific basis, there is no fixed indications and contraindications, and improper operation may also occur sepsis, infectious shock and other serious complications. Therefore, at present, in order to protect blood resources and guarantee the safety of clinical blood use and medical quality, autologous blood therapy has been banned. Urticaria is mainly treated by antihistamines or combined with other drugs, the first generation of antihistamines have drowsiness, including cyproheptadine, paracetamol, etc.; the second generation of antihistamines have less drowsiness, including loratadine, cetirizine hydrochloride, ibastine, imipramine and so on. Diagnosed urticaria should actively follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, do not blindly try to self-blood therapy, in order to avoid serious complications.
