The symptoms of both itching and bleeding in the nostrils may be due to the rupture and bleeding of nasal capillaries caused by digging the nose with hands, or the rupture and bleeding of nasal capillaries stimulated by dryness and inflammation of the nasal mucosa.
The bleeding capillaries cause blood crusts or residual blood in the nasal cavity that can irritate the surrounding mucosa and cause an itching sensation.
