How to cross the high incidence of coronary heart disease

The change of disease spectrum and economic development are inseparable. The 1950s and 1960s were the period of high incidence of coronary heart disease in Europe and the United States, and the current economic development in China is at the stage of economic development in Europe and the United States at that time, and it is also strikingly similar that the incidence of coronary heart disease in China has also entered a period of rapid development. Can we cross this period in a much shorter period of time than they did in terms of economic development? I honestly don’t know, I’m not confident yet. To illustrate this, we need to look at what others have done. First of all, as early as the 1960s, the American Cooper invented the famous aerobic metabolic exercise, which set off a national fitness boom and became a turning point in the decline of the incidence of coronary heart disease. Secondly, the generation of McDonald’s lovers like Clinton gradually realized that it was junk food and enabled their next generation to successfully reduce the intake of junk. Again, smoking has been completely abandoned as the most unhealthy way to live. There is also the extreme affluence that has made the middle class the backbone of society. Aside from the fact that it takes a high level of economic development to achieve this, it seems that with a few modifications in diet and lifestyle, we can be as successful as others in stopping coronary heart disease, but how are we doing? This is exactly why I have no confidence! How many people have to drive to buy groceries just to save two steps; how many adults and children love junk food; smoking has even become a fashion for girls, knowing that it is not only harmful to themselves but also to the next generation of the nation; how many times have I told my patients to quit smoking, lose weight, eat lightly, and exercise, only to receive a response of “Doctor, what medicine should I take? As if medicine can solve all problems, forgetting that medicine is only the first step to health if it starts with diet and living. Finally, the most simple phrase to everyone to open the legs, control the mouth to think about people in Europe and the United States to do all but these six words, as long as we really do these six words will be like economic development as easily across the coronary heart disease.
