Prostate enlargement is not an adrenal gland disorder. The prostate is a male-specific gonadal organ that abuts the bladder with the tip facing downward against the urogenital diaphragm, abuts the pubic symphysis in front, and is followed by the rectum. Prostatic hyperplasia is caused by the gradual enlargement of the prostate gland, which exerts pressure on the urethra and bladder outlet.
The adrenal glands are the body’s endocrine glands, one on each side of the body, the left adrenal gland is approximately half-moon shaped and the right adrenal gland is triangular in shape, located on the upper inner side of the left and right kidneys respectively. There is a clear difference in the anatomical location of the two sites of pathogenesis and they are not the same type of disease.
