There are many causes of frozen shoulder, including degenerative factors, traumatic factors, environmental factors, climatic factors, psychological factors, endocrine factors, anatomical factors, and cervical factors. Among them, such as trauma, environmental, climatic and mental factors, can be prevented. 1. Prevent injuries to the shoulder joint and its surrounding tissues. Trauma is one of the most important causes of frozen shoulder, and the onset of many patients with frozen shoulder is related to trauma. Trauma can be high-intensity direct violence, but it is relatively rare; more often it is a sprain or strain caused by indirect violence such as improper coordination of the shoulder joint; in addition, repeated, multiple, long-lasting small injury forces are the most common external forces that cause frozen shoulder. This shows that it is very important to prevent shoulder joint injuries. In particular, middle-aged and elderly people should work, live and exercise according to their strengths, and should not reluctantly move the shoulder joint vigorously, nor should they suddenly exert force or power. Be sure to do warm-up activities before working or exercising, so that the shoulder joint can move and be in a relaxed state before officially going to work. Frozen shoulder is also closely related to post-traumatic fixation, which can cause muscle spasm, atrophy, joint capsule and tendon adhesions or contractures, resulting in dysfunction. After the shoulder joint is released from fixation, on the one hand, we should carry out independent restorative training step by step, on the other hand, we should not be too hasty and should not be forced by others to stretch the shoulder joint, which will not only cause pain to the patient, but also cause secondary damage to the shoulder joint and make the recovery of the shoulder joint function more remote. 2. Pay attention to the cold protection and warmth of the shoulder joint. Wind, cold and moisture attacking the shoulder is another important factor causing frozen shoulder. In the late autumn or winter when the weather turns cold, or in the early spring when it is still warm, you should pay attention to wearing more clothes to protect your shoulder and never get cold, especially for the middle-aged and elderly. Even in the summer, it is not advisable to let the shoulder tone repeatedly flush with cold water, let the electric fan blow directly against the neck, shoulder and back, not to mention under the air conditioning machine, let the cold air outlet against the shoulder to send wind. Sleeping on a straw mat in summer is appropriate, and you should not sleep on concrete. Sweat-impregnated underwear, rain-drenched clothes should be replaced in a timely manner, and should not be pasted on the body for a long time. 3, should take a reasonable side lying position. When sleeping, you should subconsciously keep changing your position to avoid twisting one side of the shoulder joint posture or being pressed for too long. If you are a patient with frozen shoulder and the affected shoulder is under constant pressure during sleep, it will aggravate the shoulder pain and injury, leading to a vicious cycle. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt a reasonable and dynamic side lying posture. 4. Regulate your mental state. Mental depression, atrophy and anxiety after resetting the shoulder joint can lead to habitual shoulder dislocation, and eventually some of them have to be treated surgically. Therefore, it is very important that we maintain the stability of the shoulder joint in general. It is important to strengthen the protection of the joint capsule, muscles, tendons and ligaments around it, especially the rotator cuff. The rotator cuff is a complex of tendons that surrounds the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis muscles and ends at the humeral tuberosity, which stabilizes the shoulder joint and assists in abduction, internal rotation and external rotation. When we move the shoulder joint, we should not have too much amplitude or too much force, especially when abducting the shoulder-humeral joint, we should avoid external force, otherwise, it will easily lead to dislocation of the shoulder joint.
