The causes of cough associated with cardiovascular disease are as follows: 1. Combined heart failure and pulmonary stasis causing cough and sputum; 2. Drugs can also cause cough, especially angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors such as enalapril and captopril, and amiodarone can lead to pulmonary fibrosis; 3. Combined bronchitis or pneumonia; 4. Combined chronic laryngitis; 5. Combined gastroesophageal reflux disease. Therefore, pay attention to the clinical differentiation. Interventional procedures cannot be performed when the cough is severe. This is because of the increased risk of surgery.
