Heatstroke can pinch Renzhong, press and knead Hegu, Yanglingquan, Fengchi, Daxi, and Shusanli points.
If the patient is in a state of confusion and does not respond to shouting, you can pinch Renzhong (the junction of the upper 1/3 and lower 2/3 of the nasolabial groove) and press and knead the Hegu acupoint (at the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone) in order to clear the heat and wake up the mind.
If the patient is accompanied by twitching of the limbs, press Yanglingquan acupoint (the depression in front of and below the head of the fibula on the lateral side of the lower leg) to relax the tendons and relieve spasms.
If the patient is accompanied by dizziness and nausea, you can press the Fengchi (1 inch into the hairline of the occipital area), the large vertebrae (the 7th cervical vertebrae under the spinous process depression), foot Sanli (3 inches below the eye of the outer knee, the tibial bone outside the anterior ridge of a cross finger) to refresh the mind, strengthen the spleen and stomach.
First aid for heatstroke needs to be performed by a medical professional, and those with more serious symptoms should go to the hospital in time. Individuals should not operate blindly, so as not to delay the condition and jeopardize life.
